The project manager, Bill, was wonderful to work with! He did a great job keeping us informed, keeping to the schedule, and he kept the site clean. I can’t say enough about his professionalism.
We were very pleased with our experience! Communication was exceptional.
The salesperson, Spencer, wasn’t overly pushy but confident in KGT’s ability and quality.
Ally, the designer, was very professional and knowledgeable on the design software and selection process. She was aware I had limited time with her to shop and she was extremely efficient. I appreciate that a lot.
The messaging feature on the client portal was very useful. Everyone responded to my questions/concerns in a timely manner. The payment feature was uber convenient.
KGT’s professionalism is top notch. I appreciate them treating me like I was their only client. I am very happy with their work.
We purchased an older condo in 2021 with an ancient kitchen that showed the wear and inconveniences of its 1980s styling. If you have toured property in Pelican Bay, you know the look: outdated cabinets, cracked tile floor, deafening dishwasher and a slanting, coil burner stove. It all had to go, but what a daunting project.
Once we had completed other work like new windows and floors, we contacted Greg Ulrich of KGT Remodeling and scheduled an onsite visit and evaluation for a new kitchen. From the beginning of our association, Greg was encouraging and professional. He is a construction veteran with deep experience in renovating Naples properties.
Greg photographed and measured every angle and surface of our old kitchen and after a few weeks, presented us with a plan to move forward on renovation. The plan included ingenious solutions to issues such as the relocation of vent pipes, the expansion of counter space by moving a cumbersome pantry closet, and the thoughtful positioning of appliances.
Through all phases of our project, KGT was there to help and reassure. They offer hands on advice and assistance in the selection of cabinets, countertops, sink, faucets, etc. through their design staff. In our case, we worked with Greg’s daughter, Ally, a wonderful and knowledgeable kitchen designer.
All interaction with KGT’s front office regarding scheduling and other issues was friendly and efficient. Their office liaison, Janay, answered all our calls with a smile.
And I can’t close without mentioning our amazing project manager, Bill. He supervised our renovation as if it had been his own home. He sent us weekly emails with progress reports and was always available by phone and onsite visits to receive our comments.
Please consider KGT Remodeling for work you may be considering. I can’t praise them enough for the quality of their work and devotion to their clients.
Often I hear how the project cost got totally out of hand and the blame is placed on the contract, even though much of the changes were a result of the owner wanting more… different… better from the original plans. I will say you remained on budget and informed me of any additional cost promptly, allowing me to determine what course of action I wanted to take. Securing accurate, timely information from your project team is critical to delivering a satisfying experience, and KGT performed well in this area.
Lastly, if I had it to do over again, would I use KGT? Yes, without question. There is only one thing I would do differently. I appreciated the teams’ efforts each week to provide status reports and pictures, that was helpful. However, next time I will remain in the area to check out the progress first hand or plan several trips to review the work, the color choices, and the quality of the selections. I think we could have done a better job of working with KGT had we been available to make choices both big and small as the project unfolded. While the tradesmen’s opinions are valued, in the end, it is the owner’s decision and opinion that matters most.
Greg, I thank you and your team for your efforts, leadership, follow up, and genuine desire to create a happy experience for your clients. Your success is a reflection of that desire and effort.
