We are proud to announce that KGT Builders took home not one, but two Sand Dollar Awards at the 2026 CBIA Awards Ceremony, one of the most prestigious recognition events in Southwest Florida’s building and remodeling industry. It was an extraordinary evening, and an honor that belongs to every member of the KGT team.

What Are the Sand Dollar Awards?

The Sand Dollar Awards are presented annually by the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) to recognize excellence in construction, remodeling, design, and craftsmanship across Southwest Florida. Competing for a Sand Dollar Award means submitting your work to be judged alongside the finest luxury builders and remodelers in the region. Winning one is a meaningful validation of the uncompromising standards a company holds itself to every single day.

For KGT Builders, 2026 marks a milestone moment. Two awards. Two extraordinary projects. One unforgettable evening at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples.

Best Outdoor Living Area Under $1,000,000
Weber Woods Lanai Expansion

This outdoor living space did not exist before. Designed and built from the ground up, the Weber Woods Lanai Expansion transformed a Naples luxury home with a covered lanai, stone fireplace, custom entertainment area, and a stunning wood plank ceiling that makes every evening feel like a private resort retreat.

More than an addition, this Naples outdoor living renovation changed the way a family experiences their home entirely, extending luxury living space seamlessly outdoors and creating an environment perfectly suited to the Naples lifestyle year round. The judges recognized what our clients already knew: that thoughtful, intentional outdoor design is not a luxury add-on. It is a fundamental part of how discerning homeowners live in Southwest Florida.

Best Kitchen Design Under $1,000,000
Private Residence by a Builder/Remodeler — Pelican Landing

The Pelican Landing luxury kitchen renovation is a masterclass in what happens when award winning design and precision construction work as one. Custom cabinetry, a dramatic illuminated natural stone island, professional grade appliances, and a layout designed for both refined everyday living and effortless entertaining. Every detail was considered. Every finish was chosen with intention.

This Sand Dollar Award recognizes not just the beauty of this finished Naples kitchen but the craftsmanship, coordination, and design build expertise that made it possible. It is the hallmark of a luxury renovation executed at the highest level.

A Thank You to Our Team and Our Clients

Awards like these do not happen without an extraordinary team. Every project manager, craftsman, designer, and coordinator who poured their expertise and care into these two projects deserves recognition as much as the trophies themselves.

And to our clients, thank you for trusting us with your Naples homes. Your vision, your trust, and your willingness to collaborate are what make work like this possible. We build for you.

Building the Luxury Standard in Naples

At KGT Builders, we have spent more than 20 years designing and building Naples luxury homes that reflect the extraordinary community around them. These two Sand Dollar Awards are a reflection of that commitment to craftsmanship, to our clients, and to the standard that Naples demands and deserves.

If you are ready to reimagine your Naples home; whether it is a luxury kitchen renovation, a custom outdoor living space, a spa inspired primary suite, or a complete whole home transformation, we would love to start the conversation.
